As an Australian living in Wales, one thing I miss is good Japanese food. Thank goodness then, for Bamboo. I don't live in Swansea but if I'm passing through I will always stop here. Their bento boxes are excellent value, their starter/entrée list has options galore, even their xiao long bao are great (not Japanese I know!). And the staff are just so friendly. A gem of a place.

Been here so many times over the past 2 years and I highly recommend!! My go-to mains are usually the salmon sushi, katsu curry or chicken ramen and they’re all perfection. The dumplings are also very very tasty, I would recommend the crystal and pumpkin shrimp ones. Also the family who owns the restaurant are so lovely too, and we always get the best service☺️

visited with my boyfriend this evening and we're both glad we did!! we shared the veggie dumplings and veggie spring rolls, which were delicious. he had the chicken yakisobe and i had the tofu yakisobe. it tasted so good and was so filling i had to take it home to finish. the service was amazing, the young man was so attentive and very polite!! we will definitely be coming back :)

A Great Find. What a pleasant surprise! I stumbled into Bamboo Restaurant-竹 last minute, needing a meal (didn't eat anything all day), and was really impressed. The place had a relaxed vibe and the service was friendly. There was a minimal wait, and paying was easy. My beef ramen was delicious, hitting the spot perfectly. I'll definitely be back. Arigato!

Best sushi in Swansea! The vegetable and shrimp tempura mix and the salmon sashimi set are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it—the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. If you're looking for sushi in Swansea, just go. You won’t be disappointed—I guarantee it!

This will be the only and regular sushi place we will be using. The pricing was amazing. The kids ate everything not a bit of food was wasted. We can’t wait to return thanks for having us xx- Service

The couple who own it bring over 20 years of experience from top London restaurants, and we’re so lucky they chose Swansea to share their amazing fusion of sushi and dim sum. Their son who manage the restaurant is friendly and helpful.
The food is fresh, flavourful, healthy and AMAZING. My absolute favorite is dragon roll, soup dumplings, chicken wings and grilled scallop, perfectly made every time. The creativity and quality of their dishes are unmatched, blending my two favorite cuisines into something truly special. Something you must not miss in Swansea!

Cannot say how good this place is enough! It’s my boyfriend and I favourite place to go for dates. We love seeing the waiter who knows our order now haaha always makes us laugh and always tops your water up which is great! food is amazing always hope this place never leaves

Recommend!! The ingredients are of high quality and have a pleasing flavor. It’s a reasonable price for me. Especially "Grilled scallops" and "soft shell crab roll" It's so amazing. And I’m impressed with the nice service from the waitress.
